After School Classes
Registration opens Thursday, September 20th at 12:00am (midnight Wednesday).
Registration closes Friday, September 27th at 5:00pm.
First classes begin Monday, October 15th (except for the Drama class, which begins on Wednesday, October 3rd) and all classes end by Wednesday, December 19th. (Exact dates vary, due to no-school days and length each of class.) Payment will be due upon registration. Class size is limited and placement in classes will occur on a first come, first served basis. Wait lists will be kept for full classes. If space becomes available, families will be contacted in the order registration was received to be offered placement in the class.
Please note: The schedule of classes for fall quarter offers an array of choices for students from first through sixth grades. Kindergarten students will be welcome to join select Student Enrichment classes starting in winter quarter, after all have had more time to adjust to the demands of their long school day.
Discounts available for full-time volunteers! Each class must have a dedicated parent volunteer. We cannot have a class without one. The job of the volunteer is to remain in the Student Enrichment class to support the instructor and students. A parent volunteer for the full session will receive priority registration and 50% off the class fee for one child. If you are interested in being the volunteer for a class, please contact the Student Enrichment Team to offer your time before registration begins. Parent volunteers will be contacted and given a coupon code to enter when registering.
Limited partial scholarships are available. If your family needs financial assistance for any class, please contact the Student Enrichment team by Tuesday, September 18th, so that we may assist you in the application process before online registration opens. Special Needs Accommodations
The LFP PTA is committed to supporting all students in being able to participate in our after-school Student Enrichment programs. If a student wanting to participate in one of our programs has a special need or medical concern, as documented in an IEP or 504 plan, we will work with the parents/guardians to develop a plan that will help ensure the student may be able to participate in a safe and appropriate manner. We will do our best to provide appropriate accommodations as long as they do not result in a material change to the program. If you require special accommodation to participate, please contact us.
