Volunteer Opportunities
The LFP PTA is dedicated to providing many wonderful social and educational opportunities for our children. And parent involvement makes it all possible. We are recruiting volunteers for a wide range activities and programs. You can give a little of your time or a lot. Every little bit helps. Volunteering is a rewarding experience, especially after you see all the little smiles it produces! We have immediate needs for these activities!
  • Attend and Report on School Board meetings (roughly 2 per month-1 or 2 people)
  • Bulletin Board (maintain the PTA calendar board and the adjacent bulletin board right outside the PTA office)
  • Family Game Night (math games - an all new event!)
  • Math Olympiad (Mr. Purn has always done this and will be retiring this year)
  • Science Night (1 person to work with Susan Treat)
  • Walk-a-thon (this is a school event that the PTA helps to run)
  • Year book (1 person to work with Lesa Cole needs computer skills and like photography)

Fundraising Volunteer Opportunities
Committee Chair positions are needed for our busy fall fundraising season. We have exciting new events planned and would love your help over the summer. We need the following positions filled:

  • GREEN Committee Chair - yes, it's true, LFP is going green in the fall. This is an exciting fundraising opportunity! Help us make a difference!
  • Giftwrap Committee Chair - Part of going green means going to an online-order-only program for all our giftwrap - no more on-site box assembly and kid delivered distribution! It's an easy way to help raise funds. We would love your help!
  • Dolphin Gear: - our apparel and merchandise program
  • GIVE ME FIVE - a new opportunity to share an extra five, when you can
  • Spring Fundraiser - no summer work required!
  • Auction Committee - the more the merrier!

To learn about other volunteer opportunities, please contact Jill Brady or Lisa Plancich, PTA Co-Presidents.

We appreciate all your help! Thank you!
